Happy Duck Publishing is a small, Missouri-based publisher dedicated to keeping the integrity of the industry alive through the works of emerging and established authors. Their staff offers more than 25 years of combined experience in editing, layout, design, and marketing.

Who We Are
Edward Gehlert - Managing Editor Happy Duck PublishingEdward started his career in the publishing industry in 2000 as a copy editor. Since that time he has written more than thirty books. These works were military base guides, welcome guides, and business guides as well as informational booklets for the Social Security Administration and National Institutes of Health. He has also authored countless articles that have appeared in various media outlets as well as two novels. He is driven to help others fulfill their dreams of becoming published authors and works alongside new writers to help them navigate the publishing industry.

Eva Gehlert - Small Medium at LargeEva realized at a young age that she had a deeper understanding of the spiritual forces at work in the world than many of her peers. Her understanding grew as she got older and she learned how to channel this energy to use for the highest good. She began making candles and jewelry in the early 1990's as a way to focus and store energy for later use. She started reading tarot in 2007 using a Napoleonic Deck and has been helping others professionally since 2014. In 2018, Eva became a certified Reiki Master and uses the art to help promote balance and tranquility in others.

Eap - Upper ManagementEap started working at Belle Book & Candle in June of 2018 as our Bumper Sticker of the Day promoter. This slick lizard somehow finagled his way into upper management and now is a majority shareholder in the company. He spends his days lounging on his favorite rock and leering at Edward in disapproval.
